7 - Thai bento


The weather seems to have turned cold almost overnight, which has left me craving hot meals straight out of the oven... or wok. On the top layer: vegetarian spring rolls from our local Thai restaurant with a sweet chili sauce fish, crushed peanuts, a lime wedge, and two sugared tamarind balls from yesterday's trip to Chinatown. On the bottom layer: Pad Thai. The complete image of the bento is here:



Ok, so not everything in our lunches is authentically Thai this week - these drinks were actually made in Taiwan. But how could you pass up a drink whose label promises to "pamper your desires" and "open you up to a brave new world of sensuousness"? Wow, I can't wait until lunchtime tomorrow! ;-)
