10 - Noodle soup bento


Apologies for my lack of bento posts last week. I had surgery on the 26th of May and was out of commission for a short time afterward. But now that I'm back and fully recovered, I thought I'd try something a little different this time! The rainy winter weather has put me in the mood for soup, so I packed a roundish Tupperware container full of soup ingredients and added boiling water and some seasoning just before lunchtime. Those are rice crackers in the smaller container, along with a miniature bottle of soy sauce and sesame oil. Here's the "before" picture of both my husband's and my soup bentos...

No exotic drinks this time, unfortunately - I wasn't well enough to venture out to Tokyo Mart or Jusco. I have had more than my share of Nudie Crushies this week, though, for those of you who remember my first experience with them! :-)
